STUDIO INTERN – PRODUCTION<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Kaari Upson Studio is currently seeking two Studio Interns to work in studio on ongoing projects.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Primary responsibilities include:<\/p>\n

– Providing as needed assistance and support on large-scale sculptures<\/p>\n

– Cleaning and organizing work areas<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ideal candidates would be:<\/p>\n

– Available two to three days a week, between Monday and Friday, from 9:30 am – 5:30 pm<\/p>\n

– Have ready access to a car<\/p>\n

– Self-starting approach to tasks<\/p>\n

– Ability to multitask or switch tasks on short notice<\/p>\n

– Experience with sculpture making<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Compensation:<\/p>\n

– $13 \/ hour<\/p>\n

– Lunch provided<\/p>\n

– Instruction on materials and processes used as a part of the Studio practice (e.g. aqua resin, latex casting, etc.)<\/p>\n

– Mileage reimbursement for any travel using a personal vehicle to do specific tasks related to primary responsibilities<\/p>\n

– (If applicable) Studio support to complete paperwork for school credit<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ideal start date is June 1, 2018.<\/p>\n
