Seeking student artist to illustrate biological text

I am one of the reproductive endocrinologists at UCLA and have intramural funding that generally takes care of our publication costs, etc for our papers. Normally, we do the best we can with our own drawings and PowerPoint images and then convert them to tiff files for publication. However, for this paper on human evolution I am preparing, I would like to have an artist prepare a better rendition of the human body in a similar fashion to what you can see in the attached publication. The text would then describe the various parts of the body (i.e., muscle, fat, etc.) and how they have evolved through evolution to affect human physiology. In this regard, I would work with the artist to bring together the images with the biological text.

The artist will be compensated at $50/hr. To apply, please email Professor Daniel Dumesic at DDumesic@mednet.ucla.edu.
