Join a group of diverse artists who are recreating an episode of Frasier one frame at a time. In the fall of 2023, PeaCockMax+™’s Frasier Reboot will premiere in Fall 2023. Part tribute, part artistic rebellion against reboot culture, a group of artists is racing to get their independent artist-made Frasier out before the official reboot.
How does it work? Each artist takes a batch of frames from an episode of Frasier and recreates them in their medium of choice. We’ve got an awesome cohort of artists participating so far: from stop-motion animators to viral cartoonists, late-night tv directors to gallery-hung painters. Collectively our work has been nominated for Emmy, Grammy, and Webby Awards; hung in museums; broadcast on Adult Swim, Nickelodeon, Netflix, HBO, ABC, Funny or Die, Comedy Central; referenced in Senate hearings; gotten Vimeo Staff Picks; screened at SXSW, Sundance, Slamdance, Raindance, and more. The release of our group episode will coincide with an exhibition in the Los Angeles area.
