Currently starting an art project where we are inviting our residents and current UCLA students the opportunity to build their portfolio by painting one of the walls in our garage at 870 Hilgard Avenue Apartments.
We are looking for artwork that reflects the LA lifestyle. We would like to exhibit the diversity of our community, while showcasing the the beach, Westwood Village, and UCLA. Abstract artwork is also welcomed.
We are paying a small stipend and providing paint for the artist. Once their mural has been approved by myself, my manager, and the owner, we will give them paint. We are asking that the artists stay away from political or religious undertones. Once the mural is completed, their photo, biography, and contact information will be sent to our corporate office as a new resource for all property managers and owners who would like to add murals or artwork to their building.
