Grant Opportunity with Hudson Pacific Properties and Macerich

Hudson Pacific Properties and Macerich will fast-track more than $650,000 to local artists impacted by COVID-19 through the Vibrant Cities Arts Grant. The funds are associated with the One Westside project, a joint venture between Hudson Pacific and Macerich, which is converting the former Westside Pavilion mall into Google’s newest Los Angeles campus.

Applications will be accepted beginning January 4, 2021 at 9am PST and will continue to be accepted until funds are exhausted. One of the program’s goals is to quickly process applications to expedite essential funds to artists and arts organizations in need.

Each grant will be awarded for one of three dollar amounts: $5,000, $10,000 or $15,000.

The grants are not designated for specific projects. Rather, they are intended to provide recipients with the financial means to engage in whatever artistic endeavors they wish to pursue, to research and develop ideas, embark on projects and complete projects already under way. Artists must submit a letter of purpose which states why the Grant is a financial need, how it will impact their work and practice and how it will potentially impact the community or public.

Eligibility

All applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  1. Reside within Los Angeles County
