UCLA BruinCorps Tutoring

UCLA BruinCorps is a tutoring outreach program that hires work-study and non-workstudy students to provide tutoring across the greater Los Angeles area in elementary, middle schools and high schools. Our tutors provide in-class or after school tutoring in English/Language Arts or Math in one-on-one or small group settings.  In addition, tutors foster a college-going culture at their sites by providing age-appropriate college prep information and workshops for students, and their parents to navigate the college admissions process. Our mission is to not only give back to the Los Angeles community, but also to foster a sense of commitment to community service and provide civic engagement and leadership opportunities for UCLA undergraduate students.

UCLA BruinCorps is the largest work-study program on campus hiring over 150 work-study students annually. We are currently recruiting work-study students from a variety  of fields for the 2020-2021 academic year. Attached is our application, job description and program flyer for your review.  This is a great opportunity for undergraduate students to develop leadership skills, give back to the greater Los Angeles community and build a sense of community on campus. We are hosting three info sessions for this upcoming week from April 13th-17th. Sign up using the links below! We look forward to hearing from you soon. Applications are due on Friday, April 24th 11:59pm.
