The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA) is now accepting applications for the Alonzo Davis Fellowship, to be awarded for residencies between June 1, 2020 and May 31, 2021.
The Alonzo Davis Fellowship provides fully-funded two-week residencies for American artists of African or Latinx descent. These Fellowships include a $500 honorarium for travel/expenses.
Taking time away from distractions and obligations, VCCA Fellows enjoy a private bedroom, individual studio and three meals a day, all in the bucolic setting of the Blue Ridge Mountain foothills. At VCCA, there is an intentional mix of new and returning Fellows, creating a lively community of 25 passionate artists across different disciplines.
